Things that make you go Hmmmmm… And any of this makes sense how?

Let me get this straight — we canceled American pipelines, cut thousands of blue-collar American jobs, and destroyed American energy independence — so we could beg the petro-dictators of the Middle East for lower gas prices?

Those who are terminally offended need to find a new bad guy. Either that or there is a drastic need for therapy with the Hitler fixation.

As you may or may not know, this remote outpost along Wisconsin’s northern border is small-town rural America. Anyone and everyone have the opportunity to get involved with all things local. This includes the city and county government as well as the local school board.

Borders are geographic boundaries of political entities or legal jurisdictions, such as governments, sovereign states, federated states, and other subnational entities. Borders are established through agreements between political or social entities that control those areas; the creation of these agreements is called boundary delimitation.

A relaxing week that didn’t find us heading to Superior and Duluth for appointments or other nonsense. It is nice to have a semi-relaxing week, and we’ll be back on the road at the end of the week to Superior again.

Our small rural town of fewer than 500 residents has a three to five-block central business district (CBD) of various local businesses. It is interesting to note that there are no business owners, small business owners association, or group to speak to the companies in town. There are currently six empty or closed businesses in the downtown CBD and…

Welcome to 2021! Yes, we made it in spite of everything that 2020 had to throw at us.

There are those who post comments on my postings on FB that are a complete waste of my time to respond to their nonsense.

Current lockdown, regulations, and dining and social distancing guidance are all for my “safety?” Were we not being safe before 2020 in anything that we did in public? Asking for a friend, and of course, inquiring minds want to know. How will we know that we’ll be safe or are being safe in 2021?

Greetings from the remote outpost along Wisconsin’s northern border.

TGIF and for the first time in a couple of years we have no snow on the ground here in nearly mid-December. But hey, the Christmas lights are up on the house so we do have that going for us.

The December weather here at the remote outpost has been bearable to get the lights put up and to take care of some last-minute outdoor projects. Next week’s temperatures are forecast to be in the teens.

We’re still having issues with sunset now occurring shortly after 4:00 p.m. Yes, it does…

I call BS on this article and its content. I find it hard to believe that the state is unable to find 900 individuals who would like to support their local community and be a poll worker for a day.

The Bayfield County Health Department seems to have their own interpretation of the data they are putting out to their constituents and residents of the county. Given the continued “oh woe is me,” and “bring out your dead,” mantra, it is beginning to become a tiresome regurgitation of the party line.

The population of Bayfield County is 15,048.

There has never been any clinical study done with randomized control trials in a non-healthcare setting that verify the effectiveness of an all-encompassing mask-wearing while in public. Thus your Emergency order is issued for what reason?

So it also appears that the Emergency order is for state residents and not for the state politicians.-
